At 9 months, Nina is such a cutie pie. Nina is my friend, Beth's daughter - she was born here in Malaysia and they have since left for Atlanta, US. Beth's son Ian is also very photogenic and Sean and Ian spent quite a few afternoons together playing. I was very glad for the company.
This is another of my old layouts back in 2005 and I did it with vellum paper. To highlight the daisies in the vellum paper, I decided sew them so they seem to pop out from the page. I am always lazy to journal and hence, I used my old trusty DYMO to puch out the lettering. To enhance the layout, I decided to use some scrap fabrics that I bought from Japan, tore them into strips and tied them at the sides where I have made with eyelets.
I decided to tone the colours down by inking the sides of the paper. Lastly, I added a tag and a little flower to complement the little flowers in the vellum paper.
