This is what I made last night. Snowflake ornaments for the tree. Before I go on, i must thank Mike from Craft Haven for giving me the idea. Thanks Mike. I tweaked mine a little and added blings and 3d lacquer to the photos.
I bought these raw wooden snowflakes from Craft Haven. Printed 2 inch circle photos using normal paper. I attached the patterned paper to the snowflake using 3d lacquer as I have run out of mod podge. Cant wait anymore as the American Bazaar is around the corner. Then I inked teh sides and added some glitter to the paper. Thereafter, I applied 3D lacquer to the photo to give it a more solid look.
I cut out some foam circles using my trusty sizzix and I adhered it again with 3d lacquer to the photo. I added the blings and used my crop-a-dile to punch a hole for the gold thread hanging. I love the customised look for the snowflakes. I do plan to make more as my first efforts were blah from the back. In my haste to finish, I forgot to trim the paper from the back. Cest La Vie - we all learn from our mistakes.
Materials used:
Making Memories Xmas Papers and sticker 2007, Majid India Blings in red and green, Plaid Wooden Snowflake, 3d lacquer, Jo Sonja Opal Glitter, White Foam Sheet and Gold Thread.

love those blings2... hw much issit there? one day must drag my mum to go there wih me ehehehe my mum loves SSF
Bought the blings from Syarikat Bunga Reben in Masjid India. They are about RM6-7 a pack. Really cheap and adds on punch dont you think? I dont really care about the acid free or not issue.
I don't think the acid-free concern is of that much importance since they are ornaments and going to be exposed anyway. I LOVE them!!
Thanks ladies for all your compliments.
