Altered Cube - CNY 2008 {Clarissa}

I decided that to make a more feminine box for Clarissa. I utilised some fibers, jade circles and pearls to achieve that effect. I cut the paper to overlap the photo slightly and just added the jade and pearls to enhance the center of the flowers.

Then I heated up my melting pot with gold UTEE and made the chinese words as you can see on the cubes. I decided to go for a softer and feminine look for Clarissa's cube. I loved this look as it made the whole layout look so polished. I copied these techniques throughout the cubes.

Lastly , I chose some chinese characters to make up all the words for her cube. The words are :

1) Beauty (Mei)

2) Grace (En)
3) Happiness (Fu)

4) Harmony (He)

5) Honor (Gui)

6) Peace (Ping)

7) Tranquility (An)
