Inspired by Ali Edwards, I played with another canvas today. Firstly - I used some plaster that I "borrowed" from my plastering contracter (to his amusement) and slathered it all over the canvas. After the plaster dried, I applied the MM green acrylic paint and then sprayed walnut ink all over the canvas to create a mysterious dark green. I added some chinese pp with matte mod podge.
Then came the fun part - I finally played with my melting pot today with UTEE. I added some clear UTEE with some Red To Dye For. Thereafter I stamped a dragon image onto the UTEE - creating this beautiful red seal. I repeated this for another seal - this time was for the chinese character "courage" for the top of the layout.
I added some chinese coins as the last of my embellishments on a red leather string to complete my layout. I really love the effects of the UTEE. I must play with more...
