Layout - Sweet child of mine

Gone are the days when Sean was so cute.  Now he has manifested into this monster who refuses to shower,  takes 1 whole hour (AT LEAST!) to eat,  refuses to do his homework,  more often found sneaking away to get his DS and playing with it!  Sigh... Where was that cute sweet child gone?  Such is the trials and tribulations of a lamenting mom.

Materials used:
Kn Co - Blue Awning pp,  Gold UTEE,  GCD and K n Co Blue Awning Rub ons,  Clear Perfect Medium with Gold Utee,  Technique Tuesday and Heidi Swapp Date Stamp and lastly black Stazon ink.

Layout - Swim Buddies

Every summer Clarissa and Sabby come together during the summer holidays and spend most their time swimming and relaxing in our pool.  Jessy cleverly captured them just floating around and this photo is just too precious.  A must scrap!

I have also drew inspiration from Iris.  Her latest layout is incorporating rubons.  I have realised that I bought so many rubons and don't use them. Its a horrible mistake and I am paying for it as most of them are ruined already.  Sigh... So time to dust off those rubons and use them. Thanks Iris for this very clever idea.

Materials used:
White bazzill cs,  Fancy Pants Rub ons,  Heather Bailey rubons,  Hambly rubons,  Gin-X alpha rubons,  Prima trims and ribbons and K n Co felt sticker butterflies and flowers.

Layout - Friends

Sabby and Clarissa - friends since they were 1 1/2 years old.  The both of them have grown so much.  Made this layout from the scraps that I have from the Kah Mei's album for the Scrappingchix's first challenge.

Materials used:
Scraps from Kah Mei album,  Little Yellow Bicycle Brad, Prima Felt alphas,  Thickers alphas and Black Bazzill cs.

MOre lanterns

I had the pleasure of more company today and we made more lanterns.  Hope you like them.

Layout - Adore

I finally have been able to start scrapping.  Boy I am so relieved as I that I managed to do a layout. It may not have turned out fantastic but it was fun.  I have used the Zig pens both Chalk and Metallic for my paisley flower.  To enhance the whole layout,  I have decided to add blings and the Ranger Dimensional Pearl.

Materials used:
Black sb cs,  Zig Metallic and Chalk Pens,  Blings, Ranger Dimensional Pearl and Glossy Accents.

Altered Art - Pringle Lanterns

I have finally started scrapping again the night before.  Gosh - some people cannot live without exercising,  I think I cannot live without scrapping. I was so grouchy and unhappy when I was stuck - unable to scrap.

Its going to be the moon cake festival on sunday.  Made these lanterns with the kids using the small Pringle's container.  Thought I could kill 2 birds with one stone by recycling and doing something with them.  If you are interested,  you can find the tutorial on how to do this here.

Journal - We are BACK

Woohoo - after a somewhat lacklustre trip to Macau and Hong Kong - we are finally back home.  I am keen to get back into my usual routine.  The kids are finally going back to school tomorrow.  I am so glad!  I will have time to myself and can start doing my own stuff.  Hope to also start to do housework as our domestic engineer will be off next month.  Must get back into the groove of housework.  Will start posting Macau in my travel blog soon.  I must admit that I didnt take many photos at all.  Catch you all soon and thanks for leaving comments and missing me...
