Altered album - Love {clarissa}

I made this album specifically for Clarissa to overcome her insecurities.  My only wish for her is to grow up to be a strong woman in her own right.  This album was abandoned since september last year as I was really stuck with the journalling.  Luckily I read this book by Sidney Portier whom inspired me to write all the words that I have journalled inside the album. I left the album and words very simple as Clarissa is still very young and I just want her to read this album now.

Materials used:
Maya Road heart-shaped album,  DMC embroidery thread,  BG pps,  Bazill cs,  Black gesso,  Ribbons and Ric Racs,  Sassas Fras Lass rubons,   Mod Podge,  Thickers chipboard alphas,  MM sticker alphas and Tim Holtz key - secrets.

Yup Shar - guilty as charged - album from last year... I have just started to clear my pile of half done albums - so embarrassing...

this is such a meaningful album and i think it's so important for children to know they are appreciated and loved, and to love themselves. and of course, the album itself is gorgeous :)
