Layout- Me {I am the me I wanna be}

Firstly - I apologise for the photos not being in sequence.  I have always wanted to do a lo with transparency and I have used a Hambly one this time.  Another first is that I wanted to impress on my children that they should always be content with themselves and be whoever they are.  Hence - I named this lo - I am Me - I am the Me I wanna be.

I think being yourself is always very important and it took me years growing up to realise that. I hope that this lo will portray how I feel and signaling a new change in Jan 2008 that I should try to change and start journalling all my thoughts.  Maybe being older - makes me feel wiser??? LOL!!!!

There wasn't anything difficult about doing this lo except it was very very tedious cutting the delicate plant.  Took me nearly 1 and a half hours using both my cutter bee and X-acto knife.  I had to be very careful not to tear the delicate stems.  In addition,  gluing it was no mean feat too...

I tried dabbing alcohol ink on the sheet but it kinda corroded the sheet - not a nice feel to the sheet anymore - not so smooth.  So I won't recommend using alcohol inks on acrylic sheets.  The rest was just cut and paste and a little Yellow UTEE to brighten up the corner.  Would also like to credit KAtherine for giving me the idea to use alcohol inks on the transparency.

Materials used:
Hambly Transparency (SV),  KnCo Mira pps,  Sunflower UTEE by Ranger,  Thickers chipboard alphas,  7 Gypsies rubons,  Welcome to Asia chinese rubon,  Acrylic Dabber - Red Pepper,  Alcohol inks - gold, butterscotch and pesto, black Stazon ink,  Penny Black Script stamp and 3d pop up dots...

Love this LO, and the idea of the subject being yourself. I have to work on mine (which has been in the works - read: in my head for months now) which has yet to translate on 'paper'!
